About Laurie
I am a Level 3 IFS Practitioner trained in addictive processes and ketamine integration. After a few years of working with the IFS modality, every aspect of my life has improved. My experiences have been so transformational that I sought to learn and practice the model myself. I completed my Level 1 and Level 2 trainings with the IFS Institute in 2023, and Level 3 in 2025. I continue to expand my learning with additional trainings, workshops, and consultations. And perhaps most importantly, I continue to do my own personal work within the supportive spaces held by my IFS therapist and my IFS peers.
My background is not in therapy or psychology but sociology. I have curiosity toward patterns in human behavior and openness toward understanding human actions through a compassionate lens. As a sociologist, I’ve been trained to see individuals in the context of a larger social system. When I began doing parts work, I was delighted to discover that we all had social systems inside of us as well. The dynamics are often quite similar.
